A Creative Sign Personalized for my Stepson | How to Win at being a Step Momma

For this project I wanted to create something cute for my step-sons space by his bed to make him feel special. Their bedroom is Star Wars themed so I aimed to make him something personalized with lots of colors.
This is an easy project to make, to sell and to gift. It can be personalized to your liking!

First I got a 15 in wooden round from my local hardware store. I painted it black with my favorite brand FolkArt.

While the paint was drying I went onto Etsy and downloaded a Darth Vader head. I loaded up my 2.0 chip board and cut it out with my knife blade attachment.

This was the outcome. I then painted this black as well.

I got the colors I wanted for my sign out on a pallet for easy access. I got my foam brushes and began to dab them into my black wooden 15 inch round.

How it should look after dabbing.

After I dabbed all the colors in it looked like this.

I got my white paint and began to flick the white paint.

The white paint gives it the effect of stars.

I added black rope around the edges and added my white vinyl lettering to it. They have similar Star Wars fonts on Dafont.com and this is the finished look. Super easy and fun! This can be personalized in so many ways and different colors can be used as well.
