Anything and everything to do with Pj aesthetic is my absolute favorite. This is one of the many reasons I’ve chose to go into lingerie design. Something about our intimates makes this sort of design so special. Pajamas are some of the most intimate clothing we own. Only some get to see us in them. Making them even more special.
What I love the most about pjs is the intimacy they hold. We might just see them as our comfy clothes we get thrown on at the end of the day, or the ones we get to lounge in all day. Whatever the case may be for you pjs are the most intimate clothing we own.
So what is intimacy?
Intimacy; the quality of being comfortable, warm, and familiar.
There are many definitions for intimacy this one however is one of my favorites. Intimacy is something sacred and special.
When it comes to our most intimate clothing, we ought to treat them as something sacred and special.
So in this article I’m going to help you achieve the “pj aesthetic”.
However, I want you to keep in mind as you begin the journey of achieving the pj aesthetic, of the intimacy they hold.
Lounge Set

1. To achieve the Pj Aesthetic you must first have a lounge set. A lounge set is not what you sleep in. This is the clothing you wear when you’re going to hang around the house. It’s for the days you want to change out of pjs and still be comfortable. Even when we’re just lounging around the house, we must look our best.
Lounge sets can be any piece of clothing that we would consider a little too casual to go out in but perfect for around the house. My go to lounge sets are cute sweatshirt outfits. Depending on the season I usually opt out for a pant or short. There are so many two piece sweat outfits out right now you can get one that is just you. Try this one here
Robe

2. Okay now this one is a must in everyone’s closet whether you’re trying to achieve the Pj Aesthetic or not. What is this article of clothing you may ask?...
A robe of course!
Robes are a necessity in everyone closet. Including men. When you don’t want to think about what lounge outfit to wear you can always just wear a robe. Easy and effortless. Robes are one of my favorite pieces to hang around the house in. There are so many different kinds. Silky, velvet, and fluffy robes. My go to robe is a red velvet robe that belonged to my grandmother Nico. Also don’t forget to accessories your robe with some nice slipper heels. Try this one here
Silky Pajamas

3. Okay but really now you can’t achieve the Pj Aesthetic without silky pajamas! Now these are an absolute must! There are so many ways to wear your silky pajamas. You can get them in a pant set, short set, even a t- shirt dress. Silky pajamas just give pajamas that extra oomf. You can never go wrong with silky pajamas. When I’m sick and I have to stay home, I always try to up my pj game with some silky ones. Even though I feel horrible, at least I don’t look it. One of my favorite pass times is putting on some silky pajamas and drinking some hot tea. Try this satin set here
Lingerie

4. You can not achieve the Pj Aesthetic without lingerie. Lingerie is a staple in achieving the Pj Aesthetic look. Every woman should own a piece of lingerie. Don’t take yourself to seriously have fun. Sometimes our everyday pajamas aren’t cutting it. So spruce it up a bit with some lingerie. Again have fun with it and don’t take yourself to seriously.
For my married ladies you don’t always have to wear for your man. You can wear it just for you. However wear it for your man too.
There’s nothing wrong with wearing lingerie just because. It’s fun and it makes you feel good about yourself.
The pink lingerie piece is one of my very own designs. Check out this set on Amazon here
Before I end this article we have to talk about the last thing that will help complete the Pj Aesthetic look. Accessories!
You need the right accessories to complete the look. First you need the right pair of slippers. Anything fluffy and furry is right up my alley. Every now and then, I switch it up to a heel.
Next you need hair accessories. My go two is a spa headband and a nice turban that will keep my hair up for me. You can always accessorize more with jewelry. It all depends on your preference.
I hope this article helps and guides you to achieving the Pj Aesthetic. Take these tips I’ve given you and make them your own. And don’t forget that these pieces are some of your most intimate pieces.
Talk to you girls later.
