10 Habits to Become the MOST Successful Version of Yourself

Want to become the most successful you? I am going to share tips on how to acheive exactly that.



1. Practice putting yourself out there


Get out of your comfort zone! I know it’s scary. I know sometimes we will face rejection or embarrassment. But you might face acceptance, success, or a YES.


Either way, we face growth. When I put my first youtube video out ever, I look back and cringe. My fiance let me know he could feel my nervousness in the way I spoke. I felt embarrassed and like I wasn’t cut out for it. Stubborn as I am, I just deleted it and kept trying. Kept trying. Kept trying.


One of my videos hit 16 thousand views and boosted me like 200 subscribers! Small growth, but growth. I became better at editing, better at speaking in front of a camera, and better and delivering my message. Still, I am growing, learning and improving. But if I didn’t put myself out there, I wouldn’t of known if I could reach an audience of people in my niche. If I stopped after feeling embarrassed, I wouldn’t have reached my first peak. It is difficult to put yourself out there. But, nothing good in life comes easy. Don’t let fear hold you back and the only way to do that is by practice. Start small..

  • Ask a stranger how their day is going

  • Post on instagram what you dream of doing

  • Tell someone close what you want to do, put it out there

  • Practice what it is that you love


2. Waking up early



Man oh man. Before you skip this tip, hear me out. I’m sure EVERYONE would rather sleep in another hour or two. But fact of the matter is, there is not enough time in one day to do everything. Life is too precious to spend it asleep. The more hours you have in a day, the more you can spread it out to spend time on what you love, with who you love, and doing the necessities. Try this:

  1. Tomorrow, wake up 15 min earlier. Do that for a week.

  2. Then, wake up 15 min earlier than that. Do that for a week

  3. Keep going until you have at least an hour more a day. You will see how much better you feel, and how much more time you have.


3. Setting small and large goals


Sometimes setting large goals can overwhelm us and seem so far from where we are. The trick is to break it down. Say I want my entire house clean by the beginning of next week. The thought of that already makes me just want to sleep and ignore what I need to do. To get there, you need to set small goals that lead to this.


So, let’s say Monday I am going to clean the kids rooms. Tuesday, I can commit to the bathrooms. Wednesday, I will clean my room and office. Thursday, I’ll tackle the kitchen and living room. Friday, I will clean up mess anywhere. Saturday, I can do small touchups in dirty spots. Sunday, I can do anything left. This goal plan will get me to a clean house. It wont overwhelm an entire day. And it will get me closer than if I was to not make any plans and put it off until Sunday because I felt so overwhelmed.


Something about writing goals down makes it so much more attainable and keeps you accountable. I once wrote down I would get a passport and go to Europe, not thinking that would even happen. A couple months later, I got a passport and spent a week in Paris and London. Once I wrote in my goal planner, by March I want to have made 10 thousand dollars. In just one month, I made just that. I don’t say any of that to boast. I say that because I feel so deep in my heart that if I can do it, you can too. If I can write outrageous goals down and somehow by the power of God achieve them, you can too.


Take a moment right after this to use this photo below I have created for you. Screenshot it, print it or mark it up on an app. Write down your large goals and 3 small goals that will steer you in that direction. Print it and put it up in your room where you will see it often. Or make it your phone background. Watch the magic happen as you tick every single one off.






4. Less time scrolling social media, more time reading



Learning is the best thing you can do for yourself wherever you are in life. Whether you are a mom, wanting to begin a business, in school, want to learn a new language, or if you don’t even know what you want to do. READ. Spend time learning in books, audiobooks, youtube, online courses. Whatever it is, replace 30 minutes of your scrolling time with learning time. Soon, you will find yourself wanting to learn more than scroll Instagram.


5. Practicing confidence and self love



Loving yourself and who God created you to be can be beyond hard. Society tells us we don’t look perfect, we don’t have the ideal life, we aren’t having as much fun as others on social media. It is not even morals and values that are important. God says He created you in HIS image. Do you understand what He is saying? He is saying you were created as ROYALTY just like Jesus. He is saying you are made in the image of GOOD and PERFECT. While nothing in this world is actually perfect, you were created in the image of it. If anything is close to perfect it is you. So, remind yourself daily that you are beautiful, you are worthy, you are capable, and you can do anything with God by your side. Say it until you believe it. Your confidence and self love will bleed into other’s lives so much that you will be planting that confidence in them. How great would you feel that you helped someone else feel beautiful and confident? Choose to believe you can and you will.


6. Giving to others



Service is one of the greatest why’s to keep you motivated. For some reason when we do things for ourselves, we tend to lose motivation. Yet, when it is for other people, our fire is fueled alot longer. Giving to others is also the best medicine in life. It is such a good feeling knowing you are helping in this world. It adds to your confidence, self worth, and drive. Practice doing something for someone else. Choose someone you could help right after reading this... Your mom? Your friend? Your husband? Kids? The grocery clerk that knows your name?


7. Cleaning your space



Being successful means having constant motivation to BE successful. That begins with your environment. If your environment feels cluttered and messy, it will be difficult to want to do anything! Even just reorganizing your space gets you excited for the next day.




8. Exercise



Part of confidence, self love, and motivation is being comfortable in your temple. Prioritize your health. No, I’m not saying go train for a marathon. Just allow yourself time in every other day if not every day to spend 30 minutes doing something active. It can be as easy as a walk to as difficult as weight training. It doesn’t need to be in a gym. Keep yourself feeling healthy, it is seriously important.


9. Making friends and being kind to everyone



Networking is huge. Meet people and allow people into your life. The friends you make can help you in your life reach new heights. Also, be kind. You never know what people are going through. Even if they are being sassy with you, remember it’s not you. Once, this girl hated me at work. Any time I spoke to her, she would answer me very sarcastically and roll her eyes. One day, she was feeling sick and I left to get her medicine she needed. After that day, she became by friend and had my back in anything I needed. Get out of your own ego and just treat people right. It is very hard sometimes. Practice will get you there.







10. Being grateful



Just like Alyssa said in her article on 5 Daily Habits to a Healthier Mindset, it is hard to be negative when you are being grateful. After I had my baby, I worked out every single day. In the morning, I would write 3 things I was grateful for. I don’t know what scientific background this has, but it motivated my every day. It made me feel good. Try taking 2 seconds out of your life to be grateful daily. It is a habit everyone needs to learn.
